The Garden Route

The extreme natural beauty along the Garden Route is legendary, a journey interspersed with beautiful swimming beaches, marine reserves, charming coastal towns and unexpected mountain passes. Also on this route and separated from the coast by the Outeniqua Mountains is the semi-desert Little Karoo landscape of Oudtshoorn.

The ideal way to explore the Garden Route is on a self-drive itinerary. Driving is on the left (just like home) and the roads and signage are of a very high standard.
